Looks like all the home teams won today, no upsets.

Maybe tomorrow the Blazers and Magic can start an upset!

I don't think I need to make a new thread for this, but I had a thought I wanted to see if anyone would bite on.

If we thought that the Tatum-Brown duo was comparable to Leonard-George (big if and probably not quite true, but just go with the assumption for a moment), whose supporting cast is better?

I think its the Cs, even as deep as the Clippers are.

Hayward>Morris
Walker>Williams
Smart>Beverly
Theis=Zubac
Kanter<Harrell
Wanamaker=Jackson
Semi/Williams/Williams=Green

That's more pluses for the Cs, although it is pretty close. I heard an announcer say last night that the Clippers have the deepest team in the NBA. Just drawing the comparison, I was remind how the Cs are often discounted.

I think the issue I have with your list is that Harrell is >>>>>>>>>>>> Kanter.  A single > does not cover it.

Also I'd rather rely on JaMychal Green than Semi/Williams/Williams.  He's more of a proven player.

What the Clippers have is a roster composition that allows them to play all their best players together, and also have both an effective starting lineup and a killer bench lineup.

The Celts on the other hand have a really big problem with bench production.

Maybe the 76ers should've traded Embiid instead of Fultz  ;D

Good thoughts. Harrell's production compared to Kanter's this year is definitely not a competition. I guess I think Harrell is over-producing and Kanter is under-producing. I also think that they are about equal defensively, even though one might think Harrell is more versatile and better (he really isn't).

I would agree about the roster fit. The Clippers fit together really, really well. I think the Cs fit together well too because of CBS creative scheme and the guys willingness to play with each other, but its not at the same level as the Clippers. Being able to bring in the best pick-and-roll duo in the NBA off your bench is an unbelievable luxury. Morris and Beverly are perfect tough-nosed fits next to George and Leonard. Kudos to them.

This Magic defence is insane!

They were swarming really well on the Greek there.  If there was one series I thought would be a sweep it was this one.  Things can get weird in the bubble.

Remember, even last year the Magic came out and won Game 1 over the Raptors at the start of the playoffs. Imagine if they do it again, this time against the Bucks

And without Isaac who when healthy is a legit all nba defender.

This one is all but wrapped up. Congratulations to the Magic on getting a big win against a tough opponent. Being in the bubble isn't ideal for anyone, but this win has to make them feel good.
