So tonight the Clippers play the Lakers. I feel like if the Clippers win this game the Lakers are eliminated from playoff contention.

Another Clippers win would also seemingly put the Kings (and Buddy Hield's house) in a really precarious position.

If I am understanding correctly with all the pick protections, tonight's game could very well end up being the difference between us getting a first round pick versus two seconds and also us getting the 14th pick in the draft compared to like the 19th. We can also really help our cause by beating the Kings on Wednesday... could be a lot more clarity on the picks this week. I had given up on Clippers making the playoffs but they have really surprised me.

A clips win would be great.  I don't think it spells the end for Lakers or Kings, but would be great.  A Knicks miracle v. the Kings tonight would also be great.

It's likely Doc is still the man there and gets two max guys coming to that team by getting that team in the playoffs. A lot riding on the game for the Clippers. Good luck Doc for both our teams

I can understand saying that for the Kings, but how can you say it for the Lakers? They are given a 1% chance of making playoffs at the moment. If they then lose a full game directly to the team they are competing with, how is that not a death to their hopes?

Clippers Pick could still convey as a 15-30 pick in 2020 if it doesn't in 2019. But agree, this is a big game tonight. I'd love to see the Clippers beat the Lakers and essentially end the Lakers chances of making it (though I think it ended after that loss to the Suns). Also, it could also signal that the Clippers are still the best team in LA and that they are the desirable LA team for free agents, not the Lakers.

We absolutely could help with a win over the Kings as well this Wednesday. I think this a big week overall in the NBA, and that includes us.

I just realized. How sweet would it be if the Clippers win tonight with Zubac having a monster game against his former team

Of all the moves the Lakers have made, the Zubac trade may be the most inexplicable.

I still can't get over that one. Efficient inside scorer who is young and looks to be a solid rebounder too. Makes no sense to me

yup

a loss to Clippers should send Lake show into a tanking spiral and early off season fishing season trip.

Massive win! Not just because it hurts LAL playoff chances, but it really helps our Kings Pick and Clippers Pick both  ;D
