Good win. Gordon looked good. Tatum had a better night than I thought he did looking at the stats. Brown is going to another level.

There was one play tonight on offense where Tatum showed he’s a very good ball handler. I’d like to see him improve when he’s being posted up in the paint but I love he’s attacking the basket more often. I just continue to see more Paul Pierce in Tatum.
Scal mentioned this at halftime about the team in general, and I think it applies to Jayson most of all, he drives to the hoop with the intent to get fouled. He's blown a lot of layups where he expected contact and it never came, and it throws him off his rhythm. He's going to become a lethal scorer when he figures all that out.

Tatum and Brown both have vastly improved their finishing ability.

Kemba is such a security blanket. Shoot 3 consecutive 3’s to kill rally.

Team chemistry looks great. Hayward sharper than I expected.

Looking forward to the Indy and Philly games especially with Marcus and Timelord back.

Hope he continues playing well. However, I don't think it is good that he leads the team in shot attempts every night out.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

GWill is going to have to figure out a way to score around the basket.  that was two bad attempts at laying it in.

Yup. He’s got the intellect and feel for the game. I think he needs someone to take him under his wing and show him the ropes. Someone like a McHale or Parish would do wonders.

G-Will could just outmuscle post defenders in college - he is a strong boy...........problem being guys in the NBA are just as strong as he is - the muscle game doesn't work unless you are 6-8 and 20 pounds heavier than Grant is.

Yeah. Funny thing about Grant is he does a good job staying in front of shooting guards and SFs - who he can post up on the other end. Maybe his future is more SF than PF.

Tatum is not as strong as Pierce... yet!

I am not sure anyone would have known Hayward had just missed a month if all they did was watch this game. He seemed to fit back in flawlessly.

i thought so too !  ;D

Guess the posters who thought he was going to take away from our young wings and shake up our offence might need to rethink that...

Hopefully, this victory silences we need Kevin Love threads.

We do need love, just not Kevin.

I feel like JaVonte Green should get more playing time. He does something to impress me every time he comes in the game.
With Smart out, he was in the first wave of bench players in the 1st quarter.  He is getting Brad's respect, but it's a numbers game with both Smart and Wanamaker ahead of him..

Poirier looks like an NBA player.
Not to me.  He was in at center while CLE went on a 12-0 run.  He was -5 for the game.

Gordon picked up right where he left off 14pts on 7/10 shooting. Not bad for missing 4 weeks

Yeh
He looked great.  Maybe a little rust on that 3 attempt, but everything else was like butter.
Yup
