Great win! Good to see Jaylen get more run offensively (although it seems that he got pushed aside a bit in crunch time according to you guys :()

12-14 through 3 quarters and got 2 4th quarter shots.

Semi took more 4th quarter shots than Brown or Tatum.

Nesmith with no minutes AGAIN.

Semi has played more minutes this season than Nesmith a lotto pick who is only 21
Grant WIlliams (-10 net rating) has played more minutes than Timelord (+32 net rating)
Theis (-10 net rating) played more minutes than THompson (+2 net rating)

Team is ill prepared at start of games, 3rd quarters and collapse down the stretch.
The reason Semi is getting minutes over Nesmith is because, at this point in time, Semi is a much better NBA player....and it's not really even close, judging by how absolutely lost Nesmith has looked thus far. When it comes to Nesmith, Brad obviously is seeing the same thing in practice that we have witnessed in games. He has been awful.

That's not to say that Nesmith won't get better and be a better player than Semi at some point in the future. But, Nesmith isn't right now and until he gets his stuff together, he will rightfully be sitting and Semi will rightfully be getting playing time.

we know how brad operates, he will get used to semi playing and it will stay semi.\

I see the team right now as not good, so semi>nesmith is not contributing to wins, so give the players with mountains more potential more time. find the time.

edit to add:

NEsmith cannot prove himself better without playing time, and it wont matter anyways as Brad  makes up his mind early and thats it. Same reason why Timelord still isnt getting substantial burn even though he is far an away the best center on the team.

I can't see how anyone could have watched today's game, or the Milwaukee game, and determined that Semi wasn't a great and important contributor to those two wins.

This isn't a tanking team. This isn't a rebuilding team. It is a team missing an All-Star PG that scores 20 PPG that has the same core that won two playoff series last year. Rookies need to earn their minutes, not be gifted them. Stevens has developed enough top level pros this way to determine he knows quite well how to handle these things.

Nesmith will get his chance, but only after he has earned it. Right now, he is fighting with Tacko and Edwards for the title of worst overall current Celtic. Until he isn't, he should be riding the pine.

It really sucks that there's no G League for Nesmith, Tacko, Waters and Edward's to get some run. I think it could hurt all their development.

watched on tape delay.  today's takeaways
- Jaylen and Tatum are Allstars -- especially Jaylen.  His game in particular is just at such a high level he could reasonably be in all NBA discussions if he continues to play like this during the season.
- Jaylen needed to get more shots in the last quarter.  was too hot not to get more attempts
- Semi may have had his best game as a Celtic
- Theis was finally productive on offense.
- Team needs to really pick it up at the start of games.  until they do, we're going to have more losses and close games than we should

I hope Brad doesn't start two bigs next game. We get in a hole every time.
