Did not see this posted elsewhere on the site and don't know if this is the proper topic to post it in, but just thought I would include this in this posting.  Feel free to move it to the correct forum board.

I always thought TR was better than what he produced. Would be an intriguing signing

when I saw thomas robinson in college, I pictured him having a high floor... Ceiling I wasn't sure but he seemed like a sure thing to at least be a rotation big.

can we still sign a player for the playoffs or that is over already? TR has a high motor and should be a good body to sign for practice and backup imo

Yes, it hasn't ended, and TR is still applicable since he hasn't played an NBA game this year yet.

If true, we should sign him to a 2-year deal and potentially have his salary available for trade this summer. Meanwhile maybe he could be solid depth for the remaining games + playoffs.

Two years at the MLE, second year not guaranteed.

Is that even allowed?

Hope we get him. I think his career was in large part a victim of never being given a chance. Traded by the dumpster fire of Sacramento 50 games into his rookie season was stupid.

I thought he was on the right track when he had a brief stint in Philly and was averaging (off the top of my head) 8/7 in 18MPG.

Hope he comes here. Good rebounder and athlete

Thomas Robinson has been connected to the Celtics for many years. In 2017, he was also fighting for that last roster spot, but didn't make it.

Quite frankly, I'm not a huge of him. He has some apparent attitude problem, and sometimes loses interest when putting forth effort on not only the offensive, but defensive as well.

That being said, I hope he learned and stopped making the same mistakes, and owed up. A mature T-Rob, can give you 10/6 in limited minutes at any time due to his big frame, and ability to suck in the defense with his offensive rebounding.

I always thought T-Rob would make it because rebounding tends to translate to the league and he had a rep as a really hard worker.  Problem is that he's a really poor finisher and has no range at all.  Just very hard to find a job in the league for a guy whose only skill is rebounding and who can't guard anybody outside of the paint.

another tidbit of info on T-rob, he sadly lost his grandparents and mother w/i a very short time...maybe a month or two.  After that the morris twin's mother took him and his sister as family.
