If only we had an athletic center on our roster who could rebound and block shots.

Well, if you want that done with any consistency and without costing us in terms of team defence and offence then we definitely have to look elsewhere.

I love Timelord, but he's still raw.

Hope we get him. I think his career was in large part a victim of never being given a chance. Traded by the dumpster fire of Sacramento 50 games into his rookie season was stupid.

I thought he was on the right track when he had a brief stint in Philly and was averaging (off the top of my head) 8/7 in 18MPG.

Hope he comes here. Good rebounder and athlete

Thomas Robinson has been connected to the Celtics for many years. In 2017, he was also fighting for that last roster spot, but didn't make it.

Quite frankly, I'm not a huge of him. He has some apparent attitude problem, and sometimes loses interest when putting forth effort on not only the offensive, but defensive as well.

That being said, I hope he learned and stopped making the same mistakes, and owed up. A mature T-Rob, can give you 10/6 in limited minutes at any time due to his big frame, and ability to suck in the defense with his offensive rebounding.
I was always a fan because of his story and the way he played. Hadn't heard about the attitude problems.

Worst case is he sits on the end of our bench

can we still sign a player for the playoffs or that is over already? TR has a high motor and should be a good body to sign for practice and backup imo

For some reason, I thought a player needed to be signed by March 1st to be playoff eligible.

Oh okay. Well, in that case his rebounding certainly couldn't hurt.

Wouldn't mind it but let's be real, every big can go down and CBS would use Mo, Hayward, Tat, and JB as our bigs before putting TR out there.  ;D
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

CBS would make anyone shoot the 3, he just isn't into many experiments outside of his known best group. Earlier in the season he may have tried to squeeze TR into ONE game but he isn't going to now. People are still begging for the Rob we already have to get in (just to get experience) and TR isn't much better and I would argue they both look a mess out there, other than small stretches, especially on (team) D.

He played Amir.

Its PnR defense that makes him sit out bigs.

Isn't Thomas like a poor man's Kenneth Farried?  He always looks productive when I've seen him play but it's probably individual production that doesn't help a team overall very much.

I like this as frontcourt insurance for the playoffs, and rebounding specifically is a big need for this team.  They are a mediocre 21st in the NBA in team rebounding while their opponents are 10th.  :(

Another stat from BB reference: Robert Williams is currently 3rd in the NBA in blocks per 36 minutes at 5.1  ;)

I doubt this guy that can't get on an NBA roster anywhere else is the answer to any questions the Celtics have.

Brad just likes to play with small guys who can run around and shoot lol.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

Brad likes to play with small guys who can defend the perimeter.  He said so in the Kings post-game.  However, he also said the Kings forced his hand into playing big, as RockinRyA pointed out.
