1. They just scored 14 runs in their last game, something we haven't seen them do much this year.
2. Lester just came off of his best start in nearly a year.
3. Johnny Pesky just passed, hopefully motivating the players to play harder in his honor.
4. We're about to start series against the Orioles and Yankees, the second- and first-place teams in the AL East.

If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen now.

Nope it will not happen. The Red Sox are totally flat, brow beaten, and exhausted from the negativity. Worse yet, "the clubhouse leaders" all have gotten theirs and have shown no motivation to work hard and improve. This is a disgusting, dispicable, no good yellow bunch. I call them the Dead Sox because that is what they are. Johnny Most is calling them the Yellow Sox from his graves. They are getting what they deserve because they have a horrible character and personality.

Valentine was such an awful choice from the begining.

Its bad enough when your new "GM" clearly indicated he didn't want the guy even interviewed then suddenly he's a candidate at the behest of ownership there are going to be issues.

Stupid, stupid hire.
