Like scal said even if u take away the 8 free throws from the hack-a-jordan, they've still doubled us up. It's pretty sickening watching it happen every single game. On one end it's ufc-ball and on the other it's touch fouls.. I really don't get it. All these conspiracy theory articles lately about how the NFL refs are biased towards the patriots but no1 ever mentions the royal shafting the Celtics get every night..
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Are we really moaning about officiating again?

officials dont have it out for us. We just foul the other team more than they foul us. That simple.

Is there EVER any justification for one team having LITERALLY THREE TIMES as many fouls as the other team, because that's legitimately where we're at.

And of course no foul for Tatum on that contact.
I can't remember the last time we've shot more free throws than our opponent in a game.. maybe late 2016?

Was trying to basketball reference that. But can't figure it out..

I lost my "complain about the refs thing" when I was like 13, I think.

Good to see so many people carrying the torch.

Lol it's just like the Olympics.

There have been some bad calls - Brad doesn't get Ts without cause - but the bigger factor and problem is that the Clippers are much more aggressive in the paint than us.

No, it's really not that simple. I'm pretty sure we only did the "hack-a-Jordan" twice, meaning there was a legitimate 16-6 disparity in the fouls.

That's simply uncalled for, and in virtually every case in the NBA that is an unjustifiable spreading of the fouls, in one half no less.

And it's not like this is a rare thing; it's literally almost every game that the refs rack up a huge disparity in the first half and then have to compensate with a differing officiating standard in the second half.

Tatum with 10 shot attempts in the first half. I like it. I want to see him hit 20 attempts tonight. Keep shooting young buck.

Just curious as to how long you've been watching the NBA?  Because since the 80's the NBA refs have had some sort of agenda against us.  The NBA too for that matter.  If you want any evidence just look at how they treated us after Reggie Lewis' passing.  And I'm too tired to look for it right now but there was an article that came out a few years ago highlighting the NBA bias against the Celtics.  Can't remember if it was on CLNS, ESPN Boston, Reds Army?  But it had facts galore.

But back to this specific game, the refs have been atrocious.  26-9 FT advantage (18-9 w/out hack-a-Jordan) when we're going to the rim as much as they are is criminal.

the problem with the lack of calls is that the players are less likely to go to the rim if they're able to get hit without a call

cant say i blame them

Is it just me, or does Griffin literally release the ball on his shot on the way down?

Jaylen made a nice pass out of the post late last quarter. He should be looking to do that more often. Particularly when he's shooting like Smart.
