I was worried the easy schedule to end the season would ruin the tank but then I remembered... we're worse than all of these teams (except philly... though they did beat us at home for their 2nd win in almost 30 games)

How much are people going to love it when they win 30 games next year?  What they miss is Paul Pierce - in his prime.   You have to hit it in the draft AND wait for the guy to develop.  I really don't see any immediate improvement coming unless Danny pulls off a blockbuster and gets a veteran star in here.   Not disagreeing with the tank.  But i think everyone's underestimating how quickly this will turn.

Rondo deserved an Oscar and the broadcast crew an Emmy for not laughing out loud once the Magic's win was in the bag.

I think we will have some development next season with two decent rookies, miss the play-offs, and make our big splash via trade and/or FA in summer of '15.

Not saying we'll be great next year but a top pick will really speed up the rebuild

TP for the optimism. Probably misguided but... thanks TP

But i think everyone's underestimating how quickly this will turn.

Not everyone.  I think it's going to take at least half a decade to end up with a team good enough to make the conference finals.

Why? How do you think it will play out?

I figure they'll be in the lottery again next year.  hoping to land another top pick and use that player with the 2 we get this year with Sully, KO and Rondo to start the climb to relevance/playoffs in 2016.  Green and Wallace will be off the books after that year and Bass will be gone after next year.  should be heading in the right direction with some money available to make some smart FA signings

if you land Parker in the draft and use our TPE to acquire Asik/Gortat type, the C's are easily a playoff team in the east next year .

Wiggins,Exum, Embid will take longer to develop
