I think the only guy on that list that is both realistic and that I'd be interested in is Thomas.
I've got no interest in Dalembert, Sanders, Frye, Hickson, or Davis.
Monroe is interesting, but it depends what our cap situation looks like since we wouldn't have his Bird rights if we traded for him.
Barnes, Plumlee and Jackson won't be available.
Mozgov is mildly interesting, but I find him to be passable at best; he's nobody I'd give a real asset for.
Why isn't Jackson available? He plays for a team that has always been unwiling to pay the tax, and signing him to an extension would put them mighty close. He has talked about wanting to have a starting role next year, and I think him next to Smart makes for a great back court.
probably because they are competing for a title and need all the fire power they can have .
I'd contend that if we dealt Green and Wright for Perk and Jackson they would be improving their fire power.
I think they value backcourt depth, particularly at the point, more than a swingman like Green, especially with Westbrook's injury history.
Also, the reason Jackson probably won't be back in OKC next season is because they have always resisted going over the luxury tax threshold, so I doubt they would make a Green/Wright for Perk/Jackson deal and soar past the threshold this season.
