It seems to me that when we look at the FA list, the majority of them have a best case scenario of signing for the MLE.

that should put the Cs in the same negotiating boat as all of our rivals.

doesn't this put to the test the idea that players are going to want to come here to compete for a Title?

I sure hope we can use the influence of GPA to land something better than middling FAs in the next couple of weeks.

Atlanta ... well sort of ...

The Hawks could be under the cap by about $10 million but that money will be tied up by the cap holds on Marvin Williams and Josh Childress. I don't think they'll renounce their own free agents (also Zaza + Bibby), so they don't really have cap space.

I believe so, but they'd only be under by around the MLE level so it wouldn't do them any good.

well they can't move Frye, he's a FA. and Przybilla is their starting Center...I guess they could move Outlaw but why would they dump a good player like Outlaw?
