Interesting movie if you want to understand Albanian history, although at times I almost fell asleep. The dialogues were slow paced by today's standards, and unfortunately, the strongest part of the movie (photography) is hard to appreciate - the available YouTube video is at a very low quality. If you speak German there is a German version at better quality, from the DDR times, also on YouTube.
This is obviously the Albanian version of events, it's not exactly charitable towards the Venetians or the Ottomans, but this is to expect in a national hero biopic.
Also, for some reason they made Laonikos Chankokondyles 20-30 years older than he actually was.
