why can't brad call a time  out before this got so out of hand?????

It's so freaking frustrating. This is virtually a gamely occurrence now. With as smart and as good of a coach as he is, I just don't understand why he simply cannot figure out these run-curbing timeouts.

And yet we're one win away from the NBA Finals without our two best players.  I don't know, I think he might have some idea of what he's doing.

yep. soooooo much time left. celtics are really close in this one. they need that strong defense and disclipined offense again.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

we still in this

Steady on.  Keep it close if we can't regain the lead.  Then do what we do and surge in the second half.

Celtics need to regain their composure.

Smart made the mistake in falling in love with his shot.  He should know that it's more his job to get other teammates involved and playing great D.  Yes if it's wide open you take it, but the last 2 shots he took were not smart shots.

I felt it was a good TO by Brad as the Celtics were starting to lose their cool compared to the 1st quarter.

Yeah, it's worse when Smart hits a few when he first comes in...

I completely agree.  When Smart hits one or two, he is absolutely going to take and miss 3-4 more after that until he stops.  How about just 1 heat check 3 and then back off it.

I would not be surprised if he doesn’t have want to give James a rest. That, and time outs don’t really stop runs.  That’s a myth.

Should've called a TO 3 minutes into the quarter.  We've looked bad the entire time.

He's taking the Phil Jackson approach.  Or Popovich.  Problem is we have a young team and not an entire roster of seasoned vets.

Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. happens. I'm sure CBS tells them to move on from the missed opportunities and just play better.
I moved the cheese.

How about a no heat check rule for Marcus?
