so, who do we want today? orlando or cleveland?

I think we beat both teams. Orlando's defense is tougher, but their offense not as strong as clevelands. Cleveland's defense isnt that great but they have a guy who can go off for 50

not sure either team can keep up with us offensively though.

I think your analysis is correct. I am not sure which team is a better “matchup”.  Both teams have a lot more size.

It may not be a bad thing for the Celtics to be pushed some. To play well.

I hope Jrue looks for his offense more this round too. with KP out we will need his scoring more. lets not forget he was a 19ppg scorer a year ago.

he honestly has sacrificed the most of all our players this year. he basically has relegated himself to the 5th option offensively.

It's very similar to what Iguodala did with Golden State.  That worked out beautifully; hopefully we get similar results with Jrue.

Cleveland is really banged up. Mitchell's knee is not good. Allen and his ribs. Mobley and his ankle. Cleveland bench is really really poor. I think the Cavs have better high end players that could give Boston some issues. But them being banged up (even if they play) will temper that.

Magic just don't score a lot. Very below average from 3.

Neither can win on the road.

Magic do have a lot of size though. Carter, Issac, just loads of bodies.

So do we have a preference? Don’t like Orlando’s size, but don’t know Cavs health situation, either.

I would look at it the other way, what is our biggest weakness right now with KP out?  Our bigs.
Who has the better / healthier bigs?   That would be Orlando.   So I am rooting for the Cavs.

Thank you, that was kind of my thought, also.

I was looking at the box scores from the Orlando and Cleveland scores, and honestly most of those games were so early in the season that it feels hard to take much from them.   KP did struggle in the game at Orlando but it was really early in the season.  We did win one game at home against Orlando with no KP and Lamar Stevens starting.  So who really knows.

Not too worried about either. Both have really good defenses, but the Celtics are pretty well built to attack them. Both offenses are limited and one-dimensional.

Both are banged up a bit.

I'd probably prefer the Cavs, just because I think Isaac could really slow Tatum and our offense down for stretches.

Cavs are going to be on fumes Tuesday.
Quick turnaround. Banged up. Got a feeling they will be satisfied with winning a round.

Cavs fans chanting "we want Boston", just like the Heat crowd.

Let's give them a repeat performance.

Celtics need to get up 2-0 before cavs get their legs.

Make someone other than Mitchell beat you
