That s what I thought....  And I cannot understand it.... Not James Rodriguez not Roben not muller with 5 goals and 3 assists...  Messi is the map? No way
I'd of thought Mueller for sure. Don't really like Messi winning it, but it doesn't matter because Germany won!!

Where was Gisele? All we keep hearing from the media for weeks was that she would present the trophy to the winners here.

I would like to know the criteria used to select Messi.

Perhaps the trophy is for the most talked about player, the most hyped player, or the most marked player. Perhaps.

That is why I am glad Germany won and Argentina did not luck into a victory. The German victory was a victory of TEAM over individual play. The reason the Germans did not have a most marked player is because they have so many different ways to hurt you, you cannot single one person out for extra attention.

Actually, both sides played as teams with focus and discipline.  Germany won because of a single moment of individual brilliance after 115 minutes of stalemate.
