This whole thing is so dumb. Whoever gets to play the Nets in the first round basically gets a bye. Deandre Jordan just opted out. Durant and Irving are not going. Chandler out. Dinwiddie just tested positive. I get guys like Jordan and Chandler are not amazing players. But they are still better than whatever G-league guys the Nets replace them all with.

Meanwhile there were more than 6000 cases and 58 deaths in Florida reported today, but hey, basketball...

People still want these guys to all go?
The Nets were going to be a first round bye anyways; they were 5 games under .500. And this isn't "dumb". Actually it's quite the opposite. The results of this bubble will be vital to the near future for all sporting events and entertainment events in general. Maybe I'm just an optimist, but this seems like a overly pessimistic take.

Florida was the worst possible place to host a sporting event.

I'm sure if the NBA could have looked into the future, they wouldn't have chosen Florida.

Even before the decision was made, It was speculated that Florida would be new epicenter for the virus.

Even if that's so, it shouldn't matter with the way the NBA is operating... hypothetically, of course. We'll see if they can keep the bubble safe.

Jrue Holiday is an absolutely suffocating on-ball defender when he wants to be.  Utah's ball-handlers can't do anything with him.

One of the best two way athletes in the whole league. For all the bashing of his contract, he might actually have been worth it

Who would you rather: Brandon Ingram or Donovan Mitchell?

Definitely finding myself focusing in on them a bit!  Are they live?  I don’t really see them reacting to the action.
Yup

Not as high on either as some, but I'm a lot lower on Ingram than Mitchell.

Right now, Mitchell by a smidge.

For the future, Ingram (as long as that blood clot issue has been resolved).

I think both are overtaxed trying to be the best player on their respective teams right now.  Mitchell has generally done a better job of it (having Gobert behind him helps), but I think Ingram is more likely to truly grow into the role.

Yeah, I'm quite low on Ingram too. I think he'll struggle mightily once Zion takes over as the #1 guy. His defence is really all over the place too
