Who starts now for GH?

I gotta think Smart, but I wish it was someone else, because I think he excels at leading the 2nd unit.

34% from the field
12.5% from three

This won't continue. Not this poorly anyway. I can't attribute the poor shooting to anything beyond the situation. Certainly doesn't appear to be the Cav's defense.

Struggle builds character and Marcus? Let's keep it at 0-9. Drive to the hoop or pass...get a foul, you know what to do.

2-16 from three? Can't get any worse....

BTW? Lebron is the king...of the dorks.

(Crowder should've been T'd or ejected for touching the ref.)

My hope for the second half is that Baynes decks Crowder.

Kyrie needs to step up now. Calm this team down. You are the darn PG. You are the veteran on a team full of young players. You are the star. Take more responsibility for the team.

Not a leader.

Woah what an overreaction. How can you call yourself a fan when instead of supporting the players after what happened, that is your first reaction?! Shame on you!

This is a new team, players are still finding their roles. The team is just starting to build chemistry, their identity. Its not going to take a quarter to get over this. Even Horford cannot calm the team right away. Even I am still in shock, and Im just a fan!

Shame on you!

Exactly.

Saw video of Smart consoling Irving, he was taking it pretty bad. His head is not in it, like everyone else's. It's going to take a bit to bounce back from this one. At least now they will be let known that Hayward could be back this season and it's not career ending. That may put some ease into things for the next week while they figure out a new game plan.

Stevens has to be down too. It's his boy.

But this could make the team stronger in the long run. Take a hit like this, lets see how hard we can hit back. Get the young guys more reps.

Now DA going to need find a wing with that extra spot if it's still there.

Again, Dr.  on NBC says could be back in March!!!
Sounds extremely optimistic.  Even if he did come back, doubt he'd be anywhere near 100%.

He sounded pretty confident -- and accounted for a second surgery after 8 weeks.   Also accounted for a dislocation and ligament damage.  He indicated some lack of flexibility initially, but I think it's possible that Hayward could contribute in the playoffs - yeah, probably less than 100%.   This is an orthopedist's best guess from what he saw.   I'll go with this as at least a possible scenario.

Gotta hope LAkers suck this year so the pick is high. Boston pick looks like it will better if they struggle

Gotta hope this is the last round up for the Cavs

Gotta hope GH comes backs stronger next season

Tatum, Brown a year older...I think everyone feels that 2018 is the time Boston starts taking over the east....sucks

How was that not a foul? They are not even trying to hide the bias anymore.
Still don't believe in Joe.

Who starts now for GH?

I want

G: Kyrie
G: Smart
F: Jaylen
F: Theiss
C: Horford

I want to bring in Theiss to get more length on the floor across SG, SF, PF. Stevens is going too small too often after Hayward went down and it is hurting the team defensively. The team doesn't have enough firepower to make up for it. So get some extra size in there. Theiss has more skill than Baynes.

I don't like Jaylen & Tatum as a pairing as wings in that lineup.

I like bringing in Smart to help Kyrie. And Kyrie to help Smart. Share the burden of running the team. Of leading the team. They are the two main leaders out there (among perimeter players). They need to set the tone.

Really sad that some posters are bashing the team after what happened. Disgusting. Absolutely DISGUSTING.

Yeah, those are some weak fans. This team will be fine in the long run. It's a really young team and this is a mighty big blow!

We'd be aiming for two lottery picks this summer then
