Title: welcome to new late lottery Celtic(s)!
Post by: wiley on November 21, 2018, 09:56:06 AM
Fox and Heild are playing fantastically >:(   Cauley Stein doing great  :-[  Nothing to tank for in Sac Town  :(  Bagley on the rise  :P :P
Goodbye Zion, Barrett, Reddish. :'(

Only good news is the very great unlikelihood that Philly adds Zion with #1 and becomes ubeatable for the long term.  Bigtime phew!   :) ;) ;D

So it's Hello Little (hopefully), Reid, Bassey, Johnson et al.

Name a Celtic or two you might like with the Sac pick, and/or late teens with Clippers pick...

I'll start:
Hello Darius Garland, our future longtime Kyrie Irving backup PG. (great pairing with Smart).
Hello Little, our great wing backup and insurance if we trade a current wing (lose Morris, etc.)
Hello Bassey, our new do-it-all big.

I stopped watching college ball this year, but...

Sacramento pick (#8-12) - PF/C Kelly Olynyk 2.0

Memphis pick (teens) - PG Darren Collison 2.0

Boston pick (#25-30) - Jordan Mickey flier 2.0

Jayson Tatum and lets say #9 = Darius Garland to replace Rozier, for Markele Fultz,  is worth watching

LAC pick around 15 = Nickeil Alexander-Walker, SG (can really score the ball...and shoot it)

MEM pick around 17 = Jalen Smith (good PF prospect...will likely go higher)

BOS pick around 23 = Sagaba Konate, Brandon Clarke, O'Shae Brissett, Moses Brown...pick one)

I didn't understand the bolded part.  Can you explain?

Just saying that it IS worth watching college ball. Sacramento won't yield a non-lottery player and the fact that we got Tatum + whoever we get with the Sacto pick is just icing on the cake. It's free money we're playing with but it won't be a Kelly Olynik we'll be getting for trading the Fultz rights.
