Once Marbury and Moore settle into their roles a bit better we will have a very tough second unit. With him able to play the point and not only be a scoring threat, but a passing one, House will be free to float outside looking for threes. This also reduces the need to always have Pierce or Ray in there with the second squad and should give them a few more minutes of rest. Hopefully Scal will also come back healthy so we can have another option to stretch the floor. This allows Doc to play Powe or BBD with the others depending on who is hot that night. I think this very well could work out, and once again some will be eating crow as to Danny's moves.

It's a win, we are working in the two new guys minus KG, and Steph looked good for being thrown out there.  Things look promising.   :)

PLUS: The Lakers lost -- very promising!!!!!

rondo's reluctance to shoot the ball tonight was due to his constant misses in the first quarter, where he was really looking to take that shot. his jumper, while improving, is still what's stopping him from being a perennial all-star... that's just disappointing. the espn scouting report says that he is most closely like baron davis at his age? beats me.  ::)

How many times has BD been an all-star? Was he a near-elite PG when he was barely 23? If so, the comparison fits....
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Overall an ugly game.  R2 couldn't hit anything but managed 17 dimes at least.  Jesus was Jesus-y.  I wonder if PP's getting a little burned out with all the minutes though, he's been out of sorts for a few games now.

There is nothing "at least" about 17 dimes.

Sounds like we should have won by a few more points, but I'll take any win after that Clippers game.

17 Assists! I'm definitely going to watch the NBA League Pass replay of this game, I want to see Rondo get his career high. Sounds like Marbury played okay for his first game, and Mikki did okay again too.

Plus the Lakers lost, too bad the Cavs couldn't make it two in a row.  ;)
