The Lakers would be a worse team.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Donovan Mitchell.

The Lakers are sending out 40 year old LeBron James & undrafted role player Austin Reaves for a superstar in his prime to pair with Anthony Davis.

Davis + Mitchell isn't good enough to win a title, and in the short term Lebron + Reaves is better.

LA is better off keeping Lebron and seeing what they can add in the offseason.

especially if they give up draft picks
