I think our transition offense would be out of sight with Ball.

Brad would love him. Definition of a guy who makes his teammates better.

We’d need to add a serious rebounder and be off to the races.

would need to trade real assets for Lonzo.  Rumor is they might trade him for #7.

#14 and Robert Williams? Would that do?

Im so on board.

His crazy dad aside, I'm still on thr camp of Lonzo being a very good player. I think his shootinf can be fkxed. His defense and vision and feel for the game on the other hand is something you cannot teach.

Lonzo - Jaylen - Tatum core moving forward? Take my money.

I'd rather a trade for Sabonis from indiana.  Maybe yabs and 20 and 22.  THen use the MLE on a guy like beverly.

Beverly
brown
hayward
tatum
horford

with a second unit of
smart
wannamaker
semi
sabonis
baynes

with smart and sabonis getting starter minutes.  Maybe resign MM as well instead of semi.

It depends if I had Elfrid Payton in the wings or not. Probably not

Smart is a perfectly fine point guard for the team we have at the moment. If you start Brown, Tatum, Hayward and Horford, you will be running a motion offense and asking your wings to attack the defense. You want them to be the volume shooters. Smart fits fine. He struggles breaking the defense and scoring off the dribble, but you don't need that from him. Hopefully he can figure out how to push the pace, but that is a manageable adjustment.

I'm OK with Wannamaker as a backup point too. What we could use is a backup two guard so we don't have to keep Rozier.

How about Horford for Gordon and Capela?

I must not be seeing something that everyone else is seeing. Sure he can pass but he’s like a significantly lesser Simmons, right? So like a slightly worse Rondo who can’t defend?
Lonzo is actually one of the better defensive guards in the league (although overrated by some who think he's the best PG defender out there)

Hmm interesting. I haven’t watched much of him tbh. If he can bring D, then I wouldn’t mind his pass-first PG mentality. With a lot of gunners like Tatum Brown and Hayward, we need someone who wants to distribute the ball

You must have meant smart for ball and a 1st round pick, at least 1.  Smart is 3 times the player lonzo is.
