Do we have the JVG crew again tonight?
I think it's Hubie and Mike Tirrico (likely spelt his name wrong!). They're in Boston for Game two.

Not a fan of Hubie, but can tolerate him... hate Mike.

Do I hear this voice on the ESPN pregame show?

I'm a bit concerned.

Where is BassT?

Aussie to BassT, Aussie to BassT, where are you?

We need your chillin' vibes and 40 oz sippin'.

The Powe man needs your undying support.

I hope you are okay.

Go the Green !!!!

Cheers

Aussie

Mike and Hubie did the radio broadcast for ESPN Radio for Game 1 so they could be in Boston to do the radio again.

The non-sellout "fans" in Detroit will see the light and start chanting "Celtics" when they get to Detroit...like this

No need for nerves.  We're going to see the Celts best performance of the playoffs tonight.  94-81 final.

CONFIDENCE BABY!

We're the better team.

I'm glad Ray did not throw Rondo under the bus again.

It's a good thing this game wasn't last night or I would have been forced to miss my son's graduation.   I am nervous for this game.  We really need to win it.  So far the Celtics have had to play 5 on 8 as the refs for whatever reason have not been giving the Celtics the calls.  It isn't because the Celtics aren't going to the hoop either.  They consistently have more points in the paint but fewer free throws.

The Celtics need to take a lesson from last night's Spurs/Lakers game.  Don't ever let up.  Play 48 minutes and be aggressive.  Run, Rebound, Defend.

I did not know that about Wyc's son. That seems like an awesome school. I wonder if middle-class America could afford it ???

For those watching ESPN and the Paul Pierce piece, I thought I saw Chauncey Billups congratulate him after the high school all-star game dunk attempt.

I'm glad Ray did not throw Rondo under the bus again.

I have a feeling that what he said was portrayed in the article more harshly than when Ray said it. That in the quote there's no mention of Rondo's name, it says to me that there was more said, that was ommited for the sake of the story. And he added the whole team's effort, not solely Rondo, but pointed out Rondo because he is the point guard.

Shaughnessy has been known to do this, from what I've seen. He always goes for the controversial critical angle to stir the mud.

Tonights Officials:

Home W/L Record     Home Record ATS(Against the Spread)
Sean Corbin            48-20                         45-23
Steve Javie               42-33                         32-43
Tom Washington    52-26                         47-30

Keeping true to the "Home-Cooking" playoff format for Game 2. The one thing that sticks out to me is Steve Javie actually has a winning record for the road team against the spread. Not to accuse Mr.Javie of being in cahoots with Donaghy, but to me every little thing concerning the NBA's officials is magnified in light of the betting scandal. Just something to think about if we see any questionable calls tonight.
