Can Ray Allen play any worse?

If this is a close game or we are down....Ray Allen would be getting booed right about now.

How did we ever lose three games to this team?  Atlanta is getting completely out-classed.
By playing stupid basketball

The Hawks are a great matchup for the Celtics. Very easy team for them to play.

It's always been about the Celtics losing, not the Hawks winning.

What is up with putting a question up on the screen that their analysts aren't answering?

Ray is 2-11 now

The rest of the team is 15-28

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Perk had the quarter of his playoff life and now he sits the entire second.  Makes sense.

Yup .... some strange rotation again ... though we've weathered it OK

Yeah, I think that is one of those situations where, just because things worked out okay doesn't mean it was the right decision.

I love how the team is playing right now; if the players keep this up, *I* could coach them and they'd win a championship.

Sub-27% shooting from Atlanta.  Great stuff.

Good first half ... gotta come out and sustain the pressure, keep up the attack, play big D. TP's for everyone on the page for a good first half!! (But it'll take me a minute or so!) Previous page, too!

We should not feel comfortable with this half time lead.

We need to continue to step on their throats.

My only concern is that the offense started to stagnate in the 2nd period. There was a lot of standing around with the ball on the perimeter. Need to make decisions quickly not stand there holding the ball. Hell even KG started doing it.

No one should be booed in our team!

That is one disgustingly ugly outfit Stuart Scott is wearing.

Mike Wilbon's top-five Celts:

5. Sam Jones
4. John Havlicek
3. Dennis Johnson
2. Larry Bird
1. Bill Russell

I can't say I agree with that.  You can't ignore Cowens, Cousy, and McHale; at least two of them need to make the top-five.

defense wins championships, so clear in this game - Atlanta is stifled - also note the celts are getting much better treatment from the refs, which doesn't hurt at all

Everyone is playing their role - even PJ is contributing - only concern is Ray Ray's shot not falling - Doc did a solid job getting the team ready for this one, lets hope the energy stays up, the celts execute on offense, weather the inevitable run the Hawks make (its the nba, everyone makes a run) and finishes the game

Yes, step on their throats, snap their necks and rip out their hearts. (Figuratively speaking of course.) The Celtics need to maintain this intensity for an additional 24 minutes. Winning isn't enough. We need to snuff out all hope in Atlanta.
