Realistically, our best bets would be either Shaq in a sign and trade or Parker and Moon together.  Parker and Moon would be great backup wings, Shaq would be a perfect backup center.

not sure but Sheed/BBD for Leon/Varajeo does!  I can't imagine the Cavs can't get a better deal than that though.

I'm not sure with BBD's BYC, but on the surface, yes.

all I have to say is it's worth pursuing Varejao, Ty. Thomas and anyone of this ilk, regardless of whether we add K. Brown to J. O'Neal at center.....Coming into the lane has to be a mistake.  If it's not a mistake to come into the lane we won't handle Miami.....

I still think number one priority is a 3rd wing that can play legit SF... CLE is not ideal for that. However Andy can replace Perk in the future and is already signed... worth getting him, even if it means taking something you don't want (but can use.)

I'd love to add Jamario Moon.  Very good rebounder at the 3, decent defender, can stretch the floor and a good threat in transition.

BBD won't be a BYC once he hits the anniversary of his signing, so the teams can always make the deal and then make it official later.

I would have preferred Varejao, but now that the Cs have JO, I don't think it makes sense.

Come on men... realistic! I could see them sending out Williams, but those are the three best players / prospects on the team... think role guys.

I guess that leaves Delonte, Moon and Parker (thinking about salaries).  I guess I'm sort of interested in the latter two, but not much.

yeah fair point. not much left. i think the cavs can get more for sideshow bob then we can offer.

  • Thank you Eddie!
I'm just gonna miss being able to hate Varejao for no good reason now that he's trapped on a 25-win team.  If he's not playing for a contender, it's pointless to hate him.

I feel so sad for Cavs fans right now I almost think we should be offering them some of our players for cheap.
