How many times did the Celts force a miss, in the 4th, and couldn't get the rebound?

That's the main problem of the Celts.

This Celts team is lacking a big man who can score inside and get rebounds.

Well what do you know... Enter the Anthony Davis trade. 😁😎😎

Think about it, even before the season started, Celts were never in a position to beat GSW in the Finals.

Ainge not making moves to improve this team is an indication that he's aiming for 2020.

We actually were until the Warriors pulled off the unbelievable and signed Cousins.. Who by the way is seamlessly playing well with em Warriors.

GS without Cousins we can beat.. Now not so anymore.
Their lineup with Cousins in is their worst lineup during the Kerr era that has played significant minutes (I think it's 200+, can't recall)

Cousins isn't making them scary. His lack of defence and mobility kills them.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Don't count out Brad and the Celtics.

Remember 2012 when the Celts sucked the whole regular season and reached the eastern finals?

Kevin Garnett is not walking through that door, Ray Allen is not walking through that door and Paul Pierce is not walking through that door. And if they are they will be old and grey

I guarantee KG is still better than Semi and Yabu.

Hahaha... Very true.

Totally agree!

Ainge could have sacrificed some of the Celtic assets for a big man like Vucevic.

But Ainge wants a generational player like Anthony Davis.

If Ainge's gamble will pay off and the Celts get Anthony Davis to play alongside Kyrie, Celtic fans will forget what happened this season.

True.

I think how horrible this season went will be forgotten if Ainge gets AD.

If Morris remains in the starting lineup on Tuesday, I think we should riot.

They benefited from a short season, and Derrick Rose with a torn ACL against the 76ers in that first-round playoff game.

This actually isn't true.  He's killing their defense.  They're having trouble keeping him on the court at times because he can't guard anybody.

For who, though?  If you bring Brown back in, you have a small starting lineup.  Same with Hayward... not that he deserves a promotion anyway.  Baynes?  I'd be on board with trying that, but Baynes only has 15 minutes in him right now.  I'm not sure how much difference that switch would make.

Brown seems to do the same thing every game. Come in ice cold, then warm up around that late 3rd-4th quarter stretch... his defense was at 100 for the run.

Get your torch and pitchfork ready.  Starting Brown for Morris has increasingly looked like the correct adjustment (or at least worth trying) to make during this poor stretch of ours.  If Brad hasn't adjusted by now then I doubt he will by next game.

Brad’s postgame comments suggest otherwise. We wouldn’t want to hurt wittle Marcus’s feewingz

Gordon had a bit of a fluke game and that killed us in the first half, but Harden is the real deal. People may not like him, but he has to be one of the smartest players in the league - he really has mastered how NBA refs call a game. He either gets to the hoop for an easy lay-up, gets fouled on said lay-up, or creates space for a 3. I also think he is pretty likable.

At least we had a decent 4th. Whether Tatum made or missed that 3 early in the 4th was the determining factor on if I would stick around for the rest. I am glad I got to see a team that cared...at least for a quarter.

Yeah, seems to be the case, unfortunately. Brad just doesn’t seem capable of making the tough rotation decisions with this team, as he’s never really had this problem in the past.
