There would be no 17th banner but we would have 3 young all stars in Rondo, Jefferson, and Durant (DA would have taken Durant over Oden).  Throw Perk in there as well.  Not a bad young foundation huh.  We also probably would have traded Pierce for some picks and cap space as well

1. DA would have taken oden
2. oden would have been hurt
3. no banner 17

We probably look a lot like the Thunder.

We wouldn't have Banner #17.

My guess is that we'd be lingering as a middle tier team in the Eastern Conference.

Who knows what Danny would've done in subsequent drafts, trades & possible cap space but my initial inclination is to go with a team that would be toying with a 6 or 7 seed.  Possibly higher, heck could've been one of those teams on the fringes of 8 seed or low lottery pick.  Somewhere in that "no man's land", though.

Ainge would've taken Durant, but that's based on something the Sports Guy said. He was very adamant about it, though.

And I disagree about being a low East seed.

Durant/Westbrook/Green are an 8th seed in the west...

Durant/Jefferson/Rondo/whatever they got from Pierce would be better than that, imo.

Why trade Pierce?

The team would have been pretty solid, I'd have run a team out of something like:

starters: Perkins, Durant, Pierce, Tony Allen, Rondo
bench: Jefferson, Powe, Gomes, West

They'd probably have to make a move to get the bench straightened out, they could also go with Durant off the bench and start Jefferson.

Perkins would come off the bench, not Big Al.  But I think they'd play KD at SG for the incredible mismatches it'd create.

How many NBA titles would we have won if Bias had lived and we had drafted Tim Duncan?

That is a better question we need to be asking!
