The 76ers select Derrick Favors not sure what court has higher upside than Cousins and Favors.

Davis and Drummond looks mighty nice as well.

Yeah, we get that. Tough to get a dominant scorer when your first pick is 19th, though.

Dirk Nowitzki, pick #22.

Well, so Dirk would have to be the guy we built our team around, and that's not going so well in Dallas right now.

Or, we could have traded, but then, like you guys, we wouldn't have a third rounder.

Tough, not impossible. We're happy where we're at though.

Are you saying Dallas's rebuilding struggles are due to Dirk?

Davis and Drummond? It's close.

Davis and Drummond for sure.  Favors, for all his hype, has pretty pedestrian numbers, even on a per-minute basis.  He's just not a guy I see developing into a star.

I like Cousins a lot, but I do think it does him a disservice to put him next to another young guy.  Cousins needs somebody to take him under his wing.
Yeah I guess I forgot about those two, they certainly have higher upside. However, no way Drummond and Davis produce better than Cousins and Favors this year.

I was shocked to see Kanter go ahead of Favors. I expect Favors to put up 15/10/2 in a starter role next season. Cousins will be a 20/10 guy, you won't find much better production in the 4/5 spots. More importantly both are skilled and can score in the post, freeing up Curry for open 3's
Their numbers are pretty comparable. Favors has the edge in rebounding, Kanter has the edge offensively.

I don't think Favors is all that skilled offensively though, especially if you play him at PF.

They certainly are very similar, I just think Favors is better because he has better athleticism. As far as skill, every time I watched him I was impressed by his post moves. Also you probably know how much of an offensive/defensive rating and I think that points out the quality of the minutes on top of the individual player averages.

I would be willing to put some type of TP bet that Favors has better numbers next year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

With the 20th pick of the 3rd round of the CB Draft the Dallas Mavericks select:

DANILO GALLINARI

I'm a big Gallo fan. The injury scared me off.

Portland: the all-SF team.
I guess they all can play SF but I think Melo showed last year he is most effective as a PF and Johnson has mostly played SG where he has such an excellent size advantage at that position to get off his shot.

Great pick. One of my favorite players to watch.

I was debating getting him with 4.3, but since he won't be back until February it would be extremely hard to make it in to the playoffs.

This.
More importantly having threats at the 2/3 position, which both are, means that Melo can still get the mismatch of being guarded by PFs more often. Or have the opposition down size to match up which is a win for the Knicks usually anyways.

This is a really strong pick for this team. Rubio/Green/Howard is an intriguing trio.
