Orlando Magic fans have a nice go-to spot over at http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.com and to be honest, it's a solid bunch of guys & girls. They don't seem to hate much and love basketball as much as we do. Their game thread isn't as lively as the ones at Blazers Edge, but it's a good crew over there nonetheless.

Blazersedge is by far my favorite place to hang when I'm not here at CB. They don't have the forums we have (none of the blogs have those, I think) but they've got real lively game-threads. The fans over there are kind and though most of them kind of dislike Celtic fans, but when you go there as a basketball fan, they respect you all the more.

In my travels across the SB Nation blogs, I found quite a few good blogs that have active game threads. None are as awesome as the ones over here at CB, but I guess we can live with that

The thing is however, I've loved being over at other places, just to join in the fun of game threads. There's a lot of energy going around everywhere and it's awesome to cheer on a team, even if you're against them most of the time. Also, it's a good place to get to learn about other teams.

The most important bit though: keep it clean, and cheer for the team that owns the blog. We don't want to screw them up and we've got a real good chance here at improving the image of "Celtic fans" in general.

Today was a great sit-in session with the guys and girls over at Blazers Edge. The game was hella close, and I got to bash some Blazer over how horrid their offense was

It's amazing to see how much some other teams are like the Celtics; not catching fire on O, but defending like lions. It happens everywhere. Good and bad stretches within games. 3rd Q' collapses...

They're good sports over there and close games like these are really awesome to watch with them, for they're as hard on their team as we are on ours.

Doubt it, but visiting other blogs is a real fun thing to do, especially when you've got League Pass and can watch all the games.

Great thread idea Kiorrik, nice!

It's true that some game threads are really fun. I especially enjoy the Spurs's fans comments on Pounding the rock (www.poundingtherock.com), they have some hilarious "meme" about Popovich and they are fun. The guys on OrlandoPinstripedpost are funny too.

But what is funnier is to go on the gamethread of the opponent of the C's. If you compare with what we're saying on CB, they're basically ranting about a bad call when we cheer on Pierce for taking a charge, cheering on their players when we are criticizing them, etc. Quite funny to see the different point of view, and it gives you some perspective sometimes. But the best parts of these comments are the ones where they say in despair "geez, [x player from Boston] is really good".
