Not trying to be salty but Irving definitely got fouled twice.  Kinda hard to make a shot when you get tripped on the lift then bodied and bumped in the air.  They called it all night on Giannis

Do the Celtics beat these Bucks in a 7-game series with everyone healthy?

Or are they going to continue figuring out chemistry in the playoffs?

Middleton held Morris down on what would have been an easy layup.

Blame the refs.

You know refs dont call those

Morris should have just trucked over him

Bledsoe was draped so fully over Kyrie's body that Irving's torso was literally tilted diagonally.

Blatant foul. Should be 2 FTs and a win for the Celtics.

Given the way they had called the whole game there was no way these refs were going to call that in Giannis house.

In that case we might as well not drive to the rim at all.

If the refs are going to disallow layups they should at least have the courtesy of notifying our team before the play begins.

Yes. If Hayward plays, Celtics win this game.

That was a tough shot.  I think we could have drawn up something better than that.

If Stevens draws up a good out-of-bounds play with a couple of screens and the ball goes to the open shooter, Kyrie gets angry if it's not him. So Brad, being afraid of Irving like he is, gives him the ball and lets Kyrie try an impossible 1-on-3 shot.

That would have been a really tough pass to Horford.  Kyrie would not have been able to make the pass until he got past giannis and by then he would have run out of time.  Kyrie made the play he had to make.

Jaylen should have gotten more playing time, as pointed by out earlier.  In place of some of Mook's and Rozier's minutes.

Yeah, why Brad continues to play Rozier so much is beyond me. He probably shouldn't be getting more than 12 minutes a game with how much versatility we have.

Brad needs to get Td up like Pop does when the refs don't call it both ways!

  • It's not hard to work hard.
just rewatched the last play. looked like it was supposed to go to morris on a backscreen but he got pulled back from behind. no wonder he was so mad.

could have been a win but they also showed pretty well even while shorthanded in a really good team's gym. we've seen a lot worse this season.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I thought the final play of the game should've been a midrange jump shot than driving into the packed lane. Live by the jump shot, die by the jump shot.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I might be the only one here who will do this, but I will take a moral victory from this game.

Yeah, losing it sucks, but we had players who missed a ton of open shots, and Kyrie had a bad shooting night, but still, we hung tight, and we were there until the very end.

With some of our guys coming back, I'm confident we can get past this Milwaukee team in the Playoffs. Disappointed that we lost, but I liked that we showed the Bucks that we aren't just going to be pushovers.

Wow, watch the replay of the last play again. Middleton is straight up holding Morris back right in front of the ref with no call. Just complete garbage officiating.
