Ty Lue suited up for practice.  Throw him out there too.

TP, FL.  I agree.  (People in the chat room are probably good and sick of me saying "Attack" and "Go to the basket" and "Move",  ::)

TP for the game thread - awesome job as always.

Have a bad feeling that we'll be the victims of the "David Stern Special" tomorrow. The league would love nothing more than for two of its darlings to come into Boston and beat us. I fully expect at least two of our starters to have two fouls in the first 3 minutes of the game tomorrow, and the officiating to resemble Game 7 vs. LA all afternoon in favor of Miami.

That being said, never underestimate the heart of a champion. Looking for huge games from Rondo, KG and Pierce tomorrow. Killer Ray, on the bench for much of the game due to foul trouble, hits the game-winner, as the Celtics beat the Heat and the refs, causing David Stern to cry himself to sleep in the fetal position.

Heat win by by a minimum of 10 -- Celts simply don't have the bodies to beat them.

  • Our heart will prevail.
Im siding with Vinnie on this one too, after how poorly we played against our rival thursday night ( in the second half ) ... im saying 10-15 point loss. It would be ridiculous to deny that the heat are playing MUCH better then the last 2 times we beat them. We had a pretty full roster and they weren't operating as efficiently as they are now.  If Wade/Lebron score their usuals , we are going to be looking at a rough rough game.

:sighs: I really want to be positive, and am disappointed i just typed what i did but i just don't see it any other way at this time. :(

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Everyone is still down from this past week's games, including the C's I'm sure. I think they're going into this game with a chip on their shoulder--but like others have said, if we run out of gas we could see a repeat of Thursday's Lakers game in the second half. I hope we expend more energy on defending the perimeter in this game than defending Wade & Lebron one on one. IMO we need to play zone and keep Perk by himself in the paint. I mean seriously, is Joel Anthony gonna eat us alive in the post? If Perk gets into foul trouble, that will be hard to recover from, which kinda sucks, since we'll have to dig into the Harangody end of the bench. This game will have a HUGE free throw disparity in favor of the Heat--they just don't take a lot of jump shots other than threes--they get to the line a lot and their big three will have the refs in their pockets. Here' still hoping for a win!

I will never count out the Celtics.  They may have everything going against them, but I'll never ever bet against them.  (Maybe it's a good thing I don't actually bet :)

If Pierce and Ray don't combine for 50 to 60 points...we gonna lose.
