I hope this is accurate as I couldn’t stand watching kornet play legitimate minutes last night.

I think the Celtics are solid from 1-7 on the roster, with Horford and Hauser coming off the bench. Pritchard is more than adequate as the third player off the bench. If this team needs to rely on players 9-12, then they're in serious trouble.

I highly doubt the team can trade for a player that can crack that top 7. I guess my question is who do they hope they can get, and how are they going to get it? Using a trade exception and draft pick?

I'm sure there's someone out there, yet to be identified...but he'll be better than Kornet while costing the same or less and will be happy with the irregular minutes Kornet gets. Just gotta find him, [dang it]

Kornet is fine.  They need to upgrade at the Brisit/Stevens position. Quickish defensive minded big wing w passable offense. Different position than Kornet but will still eat up his minutes.

Yeah I agree with this that I prefer someone to upgrade one of them. It stinks that the guy that would be a nice fit in this role is Grant Williams. Would give them flexibility to upgrade both weak spots.

I would expect Brad to be active at the deadline - it would be news if he wasn’t.  No question he’ll be looking for a big.

I’m curious what people think about Joe’s recent use of Dalano  Banton.  He’s been off the bench before Pritchard and it seems Joe likes what he gives them.  I’m not sure about him - definitely has good energy and is active defensively and on the boards. Great size for a pg but I haven’t seen evidence of passing skills/court vision.  And he had no a difficult time putting the ball in the hoop.
