This is a good point. Losing Horford has focused more playmaking responsibilities on Hayward where he is flourishing.

Hayward still had the ball a lot in his hands last season. He just wasn't any good.

Horford created a lot of opportunities for everyone with his shooting and passing. They haven't necessarily missed him, but I don't think him not being here is helping anyone.

Not nearly as much as this season. Am sure the usage stats would bear this out.

It’s not losing Horford per se as it is not having 5 legit guys who should have the ball in their hands.

Last year: Kyrie, Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Horford
This year: Kemba, Brown, Tatum, Hayward

Roles are definitely more defined vs last year and losing Rozier/Morris also helped redistribute the shots (because our role players this year barely want to shoot it, save for Smart and Carsen)

The offense ran through Horford a lot, when the ball wasn't in Kyrie's hands.

The Celtics just needed to find a different way to initiate the offense without him.

Honestly I like it better when all of the guys are expected to be playmakers now.

With Horford/Kyrie/Morris gone, everyone needs to step up.  And so far they have.

Let's see how they cope without Hayward though.
