If I were NO, I would help Paul go to Lakers. Lebron and Paul would be ancient in age in a few years right when those picks in 23 and 24 are unprotected. Load up on ancients Lakers...NO dynasty hinges on it.
I think you mean Houston and not NO.

No, I am being semi sarcastic in that if NO could facilitate Paul to Lakers from Houston, it would serve their interest of draft position in future as both Paul and Lebron would be almost 40 years of age. 😁
Ahhhhh...yeah, that went straight over my head. TP

Does a Hayward for CP3 make sense?

Or does CP3 earn so much more than Hayward that it is not worth it?

This has been discussed on here. You’d be publicly shamed for even thinking about taking on Paul’s contract lol

CP3 feels right for a role like Nate Archibald had on the Celtics in the early 80s.

A shame if there is no way to make it happen. CP3 would be very good for this team.

CP0 is a locker room cancer.  If the Celtics want to wash their hands of a diva point guard that's fine but they aren't gonna turn around and trade for another one who is also way older and not as good.

how about we find an up and coming point guard to pair with the J's?
ie not even consider spending that kind of money on CP3.

I'm not sure if that makes a whole lot of sense. Dinwiddie signed a team friendly extension and will likely backup Irving in Brooklyn now that it sounds like Russell will not be retained.

Hell no, we cant trade Smart. I love Dinwiddie, but Marcus has to stay

[dang], it seemed they had a winning formula 2 years ago. I guess this is what happens when you blow a perfect opportunity (They should have won that conference finals against the Warriors). Could see the Lakers trading for him if they strike out in free agency. But that albatross contract is gonna be hard to move.
