** Tough week for the Pats, to lose again to the Giants in similar fashion to that game, (of which we dare not speak) ... really am glad that I missed it. I heard some good things about the defense up until the last couple of minutes, so maybe things aren't quite as dark as they seem. But with the NBA lockout I'm so prepared for the worst that a Patriots melt-down would not seem out of place. You can never count Tom Brady out, though, and after a game like Sunday's, when he's so ticked off at himself, he usually comes back in redeeming fashion ... here's hoping. Really sad to hear about Joe Frazier this morning ... I honestly didn't expect Ali to outlive him, but he just keeps on defying his disease in extraordinary fashion. Rest in peace, Joe ... you gave this sports enthusiast a lot of great memories, and helped to make boxing the huge success it is today. Also very bothered by the scandal at Penn State ... really some horrendous stuff that (alledgedly) went down there ... I pray Joe-Pa is not implicated in any way. Some very close scores in PAPTYG this week, as only fifty-two points separated all but the very top and bottom scores, (the latter being a DNP). Great job, everyone!

Well, despite the rare under-thirty points chalked up by the Pats, Tom Brady once again supplied the winning score, (for the fourth time this season), and pulled down a whopping 347 total yards for Roy H. ... congrats on your second win, Chief! We had eight players again this week, but it would still be nice to recruit a few more if possible ... it's hard to believe we're into the tenth week already, and heading toward Thanksgiving - wow! As usual, the winning score receives seven times the number of players in TPs, and second place gets one TP for every player, that way it's comparable to PAPOUG and PAPTBG, and it hopefully makes it more enticing for new players to join us. One TP paid to Roy H. for the win, (fifty-five owed), no TPs paid to Bahku for the second-place score, (eight owed), and one TP paid to everyone else for playing ... thanks again to all! The current year-to-date standings are listed below, (yards totals and QB rating totals ... thinking of using that as a bonus somehow, or alternate stat for playoff qualification), along with the Void List ... thanks! **
