Is he brain-dead ?

We're not trying but I can't ignore what the Knicks are doing. They have their flaws but this is still a pretty good statement game from them and Brunson on the road.

Well they have everything to play for and we didn’t turn up so I put an asterisk against this win for them  :blank:

I’m certain the guys after the top 6 would have played harder and kept this game closer. Starters plus Al have been lazy and just careless. Joe playing them tonight is just odd.

They’re all done now, hockey line 5 man sub and the starters and Horford booed off court and rightfully so. Those folks still paid to go to the Garden, if I was there I would be throwing grapes at them

Really concerned about the amount of offensive rebounds this team is giving up. It’s a problem.

No excuse tonight. Home. Everyone playing vs a good team you might see in the playoffs. And you get run out the building.

I’m losing all faith in Joe. He’s mismanaged the last two games badly.

I'm not losing all faith but it has been two stupid nonsense games in a row....

Not worried about these last two games at all. It sucks to lose though for sure, especially like this, but I don’t think we will see this type of effort in the playoffs since that’s not how they’ve played the rest of the season. I reset my expectations of them once they locked up the No1 seed with 10 games to goi figured we would see games like this

Having the best record in an NBA regular season that’s never meant less is not that impressive to me. These teams at full strength are a lot closer than u think.

Yeah, I mean for all the talk about load management and not skipping games - particularly from Tatum - isn't that exactly what this kind of showing is from the main guys? It's just a "screw you" to our own fans instead of opponents' fans.

Just thought we'd take tonight seriously with the full complement of guys playing, with it being our last actual competitive game before the playoffs and last night to actually play meaningful minutes and work on things. You can rest whoever you want the final two games and give the team over a week of rest before our first playoff game.

The other thing is that you're making it more likely to push Milwaukee out of second doing this, too, which isn't really what you want either with Philly likely to be at 7th. But whatever, I guess. Denver was the same down the stretch last year after locking up the first seed, too.

What I’m saying is thst the last 2 games has not changed my opinion of their chances in the playoffs, not thst I think the Celtics are a lot better due to winning 60 games. The concerns I have with this team haven’t increased because of the last 2 games when they clearly weren’t trying. I’m prepared to discount recency bias and assume thst the level of effort we saw the last 2 games isn’t what they will bring come playoff time.
