We always talk so negative about our
picks
Romeo will be super fine scoring over 15p in 2 years.. Bradley had less talent than him..
I beg to differ. AB was an explosive 2 guard coming out of college. He certainly might have a better NBA career than AB but talent wise I feel they are a wash or AB was more talented. We havent seen anything from Romeo yet other than 1 D-league game and a few seconds with the big club. No idea how his game will translate at this point.
My biggest concern with a Romeo type is the deer caught in the headlights. Ala James Young. I hope he develops more of a motor because he won't get much court time in the NBA.
IMO, Bradley is not a very talented player. Productive "will-player" yes, but he didn't have "a joke" in his game, he wasn't a "skill-player".
We waited 5-6 years till AB became a shooter, before that he was just a (great) perimeter on-ball bulldog.
AB could never bring the ball up the court, his handle is and was always poor.
He also wasn't a good passer, except for some basic, rudimentary passes.
He is undersized, a PG sized non-ballhandler.
To conclude, he is an undersized mediocre shooter, with poor ballhandling and creation skills.
All that doesn't exactly scream talented to me.
I think that Romeo is more talented in all of these aspects.
Will he have a better career?
That is a different question, but their talent level is lopsided to me.
