A note:  as Jaylen’s role in the offense has increased, it has come with a spike in TOs.  And that only got worse when Kemba missed games.

3 TOs is acceptable given his efficiency otherwise, but I’d rather he come down out of the 4-6 range he’s been in over the last few.  But it’s something to monitor overall.  His ball-handling has clearly improved, but he’s hopefully not done yet.

hes just not a distributor. one of the reasons I find it funny people want to trade hayward whom is our best at getting people set up for easy scores.

After how we got beat by the Washington Ishzard.. Heck I have tempered my expectation to this game.. Its still a home game so hopefully the crowd gets the Cs going.. But should they play listless again for the first 6 min like they always do.. Then the basketball gods help em because this Spurs team is way better than Ish and his band of GLeaguers.

It's the first "must win" game of the year.

C'mon Jaylen. Take over again.

Theis questionable tonight with knee soreness.

I expect to see Tacko get his first meaningful minutes, starting tonight, and possibly tomorrow vs Sixers.

Kemba is playing but with some minutes restrictions.   Theis still questionable - a game time decision.

Jaylen does love his home cooking. He averages 22.5 PPG with a TS% of 64.5% and has an offensive rating that is 11 points higher at home.

Jaylen very well could take over tonight, and then, after beating the Spurs, he will go over to Coach Pops and give him a huge smile and giant hug!!!

Yeah it's not looking great for him as a primary creator. But I still think he can clean it up with enough reps.

A good portion of his turnovers, at least recently arent coming off the dribble but threw passing mistakes. Over ambitious transition outlets, overthrowing a lob, interceptions of kick outs. Personally I'm kind of okay with that, it means he's exploring his passing game a little more which is essential for developing it, because unlike shooting, dribble moves, ect passing is hard to develop just working alone in a gym for obvious reasons.

Its also typically the last skill wings develop.

I love Tacko, but I really hope the crowd doesn't start "Tacko" chants while the game is still a game. I think that's disrespectful to Tacko and to the coaches and players working their butts off trying to secure a win.

Pretty much how I was seeing things. I remember seeing 3 different drives along the baseline where he tried to kick it to the far corner that were intercepted or deflected. At least 3 really bad transition passes. And a couple of in the paint poor passes/decisions. And there were a few bad handle/dribble into too much traffic turnovers as well.

I applaud the effort if not the result. Without Kemba, at least he was trying to do some creating for others. There wasn't a lot of that happening on any type of consistent basis by anyone the last three games.

This team needs Kemba. I think the last three games have proven that.

Any update on Kemba?

I believe Stevens says he's actually good to go for tonight.
