Orlando pounded the Pacers on the boards, especially late in the game. Got back a quarter of their misses. Indiana misses Sabonis greatly - the rebounding and the passing. Big shots from T-Ross and Fournier.
Orlando needs a quality PG/playmaker. I think Fultz' career is very much over, but if they get lucky with him that's a team. Vucevic + Fultz as offensive dynamos surrounded by Gordon, Isaac, Ross - very good complementary players with strong defense. Fournier as a pure scorer off the bench; Iwundu as a defensive specialist.
As it is, their perimeter shot-creation is too weak. Looks mighty difficult to sort that out while keeping this core. Vucevic is already 28. They might peak as a 40ish wins team unless Fultz pans out.
Khem Birch is a nice small'n'fast five-man. Possibly the best 3rd string big man in the league. Needs to get out of there if they're going to keep Vucevic and Mo Bamba and find a rotation spot somewhere.
Pacers' March schedule is devastating. Seed #5.
