Dang it.  This is one of the few games I didn't see the ending for this season.  I only made it threw the first quarter.

It seems like we attacked the basket more?  How was the defensive intensity?  Was this win a different style of play, or simply a matter of hitting our shots?

Tatum in particular seemed to go away from threes to some extent?

Shortened bench.  Heightened intensity.  Tatum starting from the inside before launching 3’s.  2 turnovers through 3 periods.  Rob’s presence a nice boost. Solid games by JB and White.  Scrappy play Grant.  All good stuff.
Yup

Missed the game but watched the highlights. That is the team that needs to show up each night.

Nice one.

Apparently it was already lit up green before the game. No one knows why though. Maybe St. Patrick's Day or another occasion in SAC?

Kings knew they had no chance. It was their version of waiving the white flag.

Or maybe Pierce did it. He was at the game yesterday…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They went 0-6 vs. BOS, MIL and PHI this season

No shame in losing to a fully healthy C's team or Bucks that are rolling.

Rob Williams must be healthy for the C's to win a chip this year.

Kings are good but just not up there yet with the big dawgs. They remind me of those 2014 Hawks team or 2021 Grizzlies team or 2016 Celtics team. They'll get bounced mid-playoffs.

Yesterday to me also felt like a preview of our playoff rotation. Hauser and Muscala can be added to the mix for 5-10 mins off the bench depending on circumstances, but otherwise we basically played our 8-man playoff rotation yesterday.

Hopefully we can stay healthy. I don't mind resting JT here or there (like 1 of the upcoming games against Spurs OR Wiz) but otherwise just 9 games to go. Got to kick into high gear the rest of the way.

This week in particular we only have 2 games (SAC, IND), 3 if you count San Antonio Sunday evening. Some nice days off for the group to help as well

Don't forget Payton.  If healthy he could be added to the conversation with Sam and Mike.

Oh yeah I forgot about him. I hope he does well in the playoffs. Fun guy, and I still remember when he hit those 3 three-pointers in a row against MIL in Game 7 (including that filthy step back one).

Seems when this team is rested (2 days off) and focused (playing a good opponent), they play so much better.
They are much more likely to play good basketball, moving on offense and active on defense.
Even Mazzulla appeared to be sharper tonite.

I think this is false. Doesn’t the team usually suck after resting? It’s after b2b’s where they’ve been sharp.

They do perform better vs good opponents though. It seems like this team is borderline disrespectful to lesser opponents, assuming they can just sleep walk all over them.
