Do people still believe that Cade Cunningham is a transcendent talent? Looks like he will be a good player, but I don’t see a future top 10 player.

I don't see it yet either. I think he should be an off guard or even a small forward. He's still so young.

Not quite. We took Nesmith instead of Bey, and traded away Bane.

We could have had both

Do people still believe that Cade Cunningham is a transcendent talent? Looks like he will be a good player, but not great.
He looks to have the same flaws, which all basically come down to application and decision-making (although between he and Ivey, I would want Cunningham with the ball!). Gives up the ball a lot and seems very laid back

Yeah, he turns the ball over way too much. 4ast so far, with 4TO. Cade has good size, but his athleticism seems very average. Not an explosive first step.

He can mitigate that by getting stronger and working on a post game, if he continues to be defended by guards. Would be an easy avenue to free throws I imagine, similar to the way Doncic gets foul after foul working in the post.

I thought his athleticism looked average when he was drafted. Now I think it's even below average for a lot of NBA point guards. They should use him as a secondary ball handler. He just doesn't look like a star. Maybe the Pistons tank for Wembanyama.

The tank-fest for Wembenyama may be unlike any seen before. Spurs, Pistons, Magic, Pacers, Wizards, Jazz, Thunder & Rockets could all be going for him

Any team that's not contending should be tanking.

Utah and San Antonio are. That’s for [dang] sure.

I haven't seen a team that looks better than the Celtics in the preseason. I know preseason doesn't mean much but I really like the team we have this year.

I think the C’s and Warriors will still be the best two teams in the league. My preseason power rankings:

Best of the East
1) Celtics
2) Bucks
3) 76ers
4) Nets

Best of the West
1) Warriors
2) Clippers
3) Nuggets
4) Grizzlies
