Why must so many here always look at things so pessimistically? We signed a guy that could be a great replacement for Gallo and instantly have to assume more bad injury luck?
I think Blake stays healthy and gives the team an unexpected boost this year. I think he will be a great fit as a #9 or #10 guy on the depth chart.
It's a realistic look. Blake's age, injury record, recent playing time all add into play that him staying healthy and contributing are on the low side.
How many ppl thought Rob Williams was to play majority of games this season back in June? Very few, if any. Should the ppl who think Rob is injury prone be considered realists or pessimists?
I'm not saying I hate the attempt of picking him up, just saying I have little faith in him escaping injury esp if the role is to play contributing minutes on a regular basis.
This take is a lot more realistic based on past data.
