Lots of overpays....
As usual for free agency.  Except for RFAs, players have all the advantage in free agency until most of the available money gets spent.

I love JaVale McGee for Dallas

Dallas is slowly but surely being sneaky good. I think they’re definitely better than Phoenix now.

I can't help but think some teams that targeted players in  free agency or trades have been in contact with Boston about their TPE to reduce their overall team salary, but didn't want to finalize anything until they saw they could get their guy

Yes, this is a good point. It will be interesting to see what shakes out over the next couple of days.

I still can't come to terms with paying Beal over 50 million a year.  That is just insane for a player of Beal's caliber.

Jokic I totally understand, but Beal is just nuts.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

The fact of the matter is teams are paying guys more than the C’s can offer with their 6.4M MLE. Lot of guys are signing between the 8-12M AAV range.

I do hope we trade for Seth Curry though. He’d be an awesome fit and a great scoring option for us off the bench

Curry and Warren would be a nice offseason IMO.
