The NBA Free agency period begins tomorrow!

The Celtics fell short in the Finals.  They need to make some changes if they want to get over the championship hump.

It's well documented that Bradley Beal and Jayson Tatum are very good friends so I'm not worried about team chemistry by making this big move.

Word is that Beal has opted out of his Wizards contract to become a free agent.

Should the Celtics make a move to add Bradley Beal to the roster?  What would it cost?

Report about Beal's opt out:  https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2022/06/wizards-star-bradley-beal-potential-celtics-target-opts-out-of-player-option-to-become-free-agent-report.html

IMO Beal is the big time experienced scorer we could pair with Tatum to finally make our offense unstoppable.  What would you do if you were Brad Stevens?

Don’t know what vjc is smoking, but there is 0 chance Beal will be anything other than a Wizard this week.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
We're not getting Beal. The best chance to get him would've been an opt-in and trade because a sign and would hard cap us.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

IMO, JT, JB and Beal cannot coexist long term.

Can't the Celtics use their 17m TPE as part of the trade to acquire Bradley Beal?

They never will now. Celtics would have to gut their roster to get Beal, starting with Brown. Not worth it.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Not interested. Don't think he's the right fit or what we need.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Unless he resigns and we make a mid-season trade.

It will be tough to match salaries, though using the TPE now to add salary would certainly help with that

If it doesn't cost Jaylen. Essentially if Beal is available cheap.

Beal can be this team's Jo Jo White.
