More often than not, the first dominos to fall are the big names such as LaVine, Beal, Brunson, Ayton. Once these guys announce their decision, the smaller moves start to materialize as well. Excited to see what happens with Ayton and Brunson. I expect LaVine and Beal to re-sign with their respective teams.

Regarding the C's, chances are we'll go after uninspiring targets. No need to swing for the fences since we just made the Finals.

Still hoping we will land Beal via S&T, but it seems like a long shot.

easy enough to guess -- C's do nothing today.  I don't think they'll do anything for the first week.  maybe a small signing or two the following week and then a trade to use the Fournier TPE before it expires that has the majority of the fanbase saying "that's all you could manage with that much money available?!"

Having a shooting center makes a lot more sense for the Hawks, but it would be tough to trade big Al.

For the Hawks, a lineup of Horford-Capella-Hunter-Murray-Young would be pretty good.

Collins fits our timeline better, but he's not a better defender than big Al, and he can't slide up to Center as smoothly as Al. I'm not convinced he's better for a team offense than Al either. If Huerter coming back into our TPE, then I'd be ok with it.

Then I'd be trying to trade for another center with size that would be comfortable in 18-20 minutes a game off the bench and starting when/if Rob is out. Poetl makes some sense, but he's probably over-qualified.

Probably nothing today, because taxpayer MLE types typically sign a few days in after there are no larger offers.  The more likely thing would be a trade today that needs to be completed before the new league year, like we saw with the Richardson deal last year.  I don’t expect one, but that’s what I’m paying attention for.

I suppose maybe we’ll come to terms quickly on a new deal with Hauser.  Declining his option was rather sudden news yesterday, so maybe they already have an idea how that new deal will end up.
