Simmons and the Sixers have settled the grievance.  A confidentiality agreement was signed so the exact financial terms aren't going to be released.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Just got some super great news from my lawyer! 😁😁

Totally insane that Harrel is still a free agent.

It’ll get out there before long.  The amount that the Sixers don’t have to pay (if anything) Simmons actually reduces the Nets luxury tax bill from last season, so all of the NBA as well as the players association will know the amount.

I’m sure they are friends and have worked out together before, but I still don’t like it…

I like it better than Brown and Kyrie hanging, lol.
Not a great look by Tatum with all of the rumors.  I mean one might be able to loosely say, without evidence, that "Tatum is pushing for a Brown for Durant swap because he wants to play with Durant.  See they hang out all of the time."  And other things like that.  Again no evidence that is happening, but not hard to draw that conclusion either.

Agreed. That’s what many will be saying. Optics are bad.

They were both just at Draymond Green's wedding, and likely worked out together (apparently with DeRozan as well) while they were there. It's not that deep.
I'm bitter.

Eh, screw optics.  The players shouldn't be held hostage by media rumors.  Let them live their lives.

If JT can pick up a few tricks from Durant, fantastic.  It doesn't mean a trade is imminent.  The only way this is a bad thing is if JB takes it personally, but I've got to think that he realizes that this is a pre-existing friendship.

I had seen this elsewhere.  I was a little surprised but not concerned.  I doubt Brown is concerned.  Tatum is a premier NBA star that other players want to be around.  That part is good.

What a world.  FBI searches an ex-POTUS residence and half the country is immediately sure he’s done dastardly deeds and is heading to indictment while the other half is sure the FBI planted evidence.

Pictures are worth 1000 words in part because speculations require more language than definitive conclusions.

I like patience.  I understand it’s a virtue.  JT and KD might have planned working together a year ago and decided not to let what other people might think stop them. If that’s in the right ballpark - good for them!

KD be plotting wondering if he's gonna start at SF or PF with the Celtics next season with Tatum  ;D

Still, better to see Tatum than Kyrie in there

Jayson has been working out for periods of time with Durant, off-season, since after his rookie year. There's nothing to see here.

Tatum putting in work against other players in off season is better than just shooting jumpers with a coach. Plus it was on a trip to support other players.

Much like Brown going out with his new reps and hanging with Irving it's all good. These guys need to have lives.

I believe Tatum worked out with Giannis once and Giannis usually only works out with teammates so Tatum is super k with everyone. Good to see a Celtic getting real support league wide.
