Go Celtics!  Let’s do this victory lap and move on to beating the Warriors.

I'm starting to feel nervous.  It seems like everybody in the media has already moved on to the Finals, like us beating Miami is a foregone conclusion.  We know the Heat players aren't going to roll over, so the Celts need to be supremely focused, even if they build a lead.

Hopefully Ime has told the team not to listen or read the press.  Remain focused on the team in front of you, do not look forward.

Same feeling here, although the fact that Tatum has spoken after game 5 - and before the media "anointing" the Celtics - that they can't listen to it and just have to be prepared makes me think they will be.

I really think it will either be a close game throughout that can go both ways or a Boston blowout a la Milwaukee game 7 or game 6 in the '08 Finals (not with the same scoring difference obviously but in a "liberating" kind of way).

What makes it even more stressful as a fan, though, is that at the end of this game we will either be extremely happy and glad to see the team get the ECF champs gear and trophies or terribly frustrated and worried that they have to play a game 7 on the road. As that's always been the case during this playoff run, we'll be in for extremely high or extremely low emotions :P

Anyway, thanks again for the great thread FLCeltsFan and let's go Celtics, grab that trip to the Finals we've all been waiting for since so many years !

Zack Zarba reffing the game tonight. He can be bad but I expect an OK whistle tonight since ESPN is all in on Tatum promos this week.

Saw some of the clips last night of the Warriors final minutes and the celebrations after. Really hope we can experience that at TD Garden tonight. Also seeing Larry Bird hand the MVP trophy to a Celtics player if the C's win.

I'm fine with Zarba - the NBA's intensions would have been obvious with Tony Brothers or Scott Foster - all this being said lets just ice this game early so Ref involvement is a non-factor!

Celtics been here before with the Heat. Won game 5…came home to clinch and got slaughtered in game 6. Cannot give the heat life.

Celtics need to treat tonight like a game 7. They know first hand how it feels to go on the road having to win game 6…they just were in that spot vs Milwaukee.

Hopefully the Heat realize that the Warriors will Slaughter them in the finals so it might be easier to just start their summer 3 weeks early.

Yeah Zarba has been screwing us lately (think Game 3 of Bucks-Celtics) but the C's are 15-0 in their last 15 games (including playoffs) when Eric Lewis refs, and he's on the crew tonight as well

But either way as others have said, just finish the job tonight. Get it done. The C's should still be able to win this as long as they don't turn the ball over and make dumb decisions all night

I'm listening to Dray and Scal and about every talking head the sports world can ask, and everyone is saying, "it's all over."
It's gonna be the Warriors and Celtics. While everyone is plotting and planning what each team has to do to win the series.

"Boston is bigger."

"The Warriors shoot better and have been there before."

"The Celtics are younger with younger legs and they defend better."

On and on the talk goes. I just hope the young Celtics aren't listening. Cause this can go sideways really quickly. Our young Celtics would become poster-children for any team choking. And it would effect them for years to come.

Please coaching staff, be aware of this.
