Obviously Tatum earned that, but I'm also glad they kept everyone at their actual positions i.e. 1 center, 2 forwards, and 2 guards on every team.

I would have had Butler instead of Siakam, but I'm sure games played probably played a role in that, otherwise not really much to gripe about.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

He’s had quite the steady upside  trajectory for his career.  Excited to see where it goes.

Congrats

I don’t think Booker should have made first team over Curry. He’s a one dimensional player and his defense is woeful.

Eh. Booker scored more, shot better, and his team had a significantly better record. They both are below average on D. Doesn't particularly bother me

Tatum is officially a top 5 NBA player! Now all the people that keep saying we can't win it all because we don't have a top 5 player can shut the hell up.

Booker shot more. Also had less rebounds, less assists, less steals. I also think he’s a worse defender than Curry. Suns were healthy all year, Warriors were missing players all year.

Welllllllll akshuallyyyyyy Embiid got more overall votes. Tatum was 6th in raw votes. But I think we all agree he is better than Booker, at least. So still top 5  ;D

It will be interesting to see if he holds the top spot if Lebron, Kawhi and Durant are healthy next season.

Congrats to Jayson!!! So we'll deserved. Really proud of him turning his season around like he did to be so good as to make 1st team All-NBA.

Looking at the players who got votes but didn't make the team, Brown isn't that far off from making a team. One little last jump in his game after an NBA title win, and the notoriety that brings, could leap him into that 3rd team next year.

My biggest issue on the teams is Lebron.

56 games played.
Team at 16 games under .500.
Showed obvious signs of playing more to post stats than to win games.

He's undeserving.

And both Brown and Butler deserved third team guard over CP3.

Lebron and CP3 were legacy inclusions, IMHO.

My third team would have been

KAT
Siakam
Brown
Butler
Trae
