I am not sure which I would pick but those early to mid 80's  Milwaukee Bucks were pretty great defensive teams.

Sidney Moncreif
Marcus Johnson
Quinn Buckner
Bob Lanier(Alton Lister at times)
Paul Pressy(Junior Bridge man at times)

That group was pretty special for years and drove the Celtics high powered offense nuts at times.
