My blood pressure is still off the charts from the last game. Lets get game 2 and make it a going away win for us!

Can't expect another 20 & 15 game from Horford.  Need other players, especially Theis and GWill, to play better.

I'm expecting a better defensive effort this game.  I certainly believe that the C's are capable of playing much better than they did in game 1.

No question that G Will needs to step up his game against the Nets.  0/4 from 3 won't do it.  Grant may need to his minutes reduced (from 21 to ??) for Payton and Nessie minutes.  I thought Theis played ok, with 6 rebs in 20min.  Although his shooting was poor 1/6 and 0/2 from 3.  If I remember, I think he missed a number of bunnies.   The Cs need him to play a strong game tonight.

Why? The Nets front-line is pretty weak (back atch ya' Bruce Brown) which is partly the reason for Horford's success in Game 1.

Here's to hoping Kyrie comes back to earth a bit and the C's win this one convincingly.  If the C's scored in the 4th qtr of game one it was not a close game.  They'd have won by 20.  Let's see them dominate in this one.

I think we've seen the best of Kyrie this series, as he had something to prove in game 1 and he proved it. He already has his Title so I don't think he has that killer instinct/desperation of those who don't. Not that I expect him to mail it in Bucks series style, but it has to be absolutely deflating to him to do what he did in game 1 and lose. I just don't see him as the type of guy to come back even stronger in game 2.

while Al's shooting has improved the latter part of the season, I wouldn't expect him to shoot as well from outside this game.  Theis and GWill definitely need to hit at a better rate than they did in game one

Normally I'd agree but Kyrie feeds off of this feud with Boston so I expect him to get the same shots.  I just hope he doesn't hit as many.   You can only smother one of the two guys with KD and KI. They chose to smother KD and it worked but Kyrie couldn't miss.  If he misses a few of those buckets and the C's actually score in the 4th then they should win by 15 - 20.  that's the outcome I'm hoping for tonight.  KD and Kyrie score about 50.  Claxton and Dragic come back down and the C's dominate with JB scoring more.

We obviously lucked out in Game 1 but boy the C's CAN NOT afford another one of those massive scoring slumps. Giving up a 17-2 run in the 4th quarter, OOF. If we have a big lead, lets please maintain it

Key to the game: Don't Choke

We're the better team and will win handily if we don't let emotion overcome us. This is our time. Don't fear success.

I’m hoping we come out stronger tonight, I think we should cover the spread of -3.5 if we capitalize on their mistakes more than we did in game one. Let’s go Celtics!!!

I want Gino time but that's me.  just covering the spread will give the Nets the feeling they can hang with the C's and just need homecourt to cure what ails them

The Celtics were shaky at the start, shaky at the end, really good in between.  By "shaky" I mean they played like a young team who felt the pressure of the moment more than the Nets did.  Not every individual player certainly but collectively.

My hope is that we will be better in that regard in game 2.  It seems reasonable to expect that.  Shots will go down or not, there is an element of chance to any game, but I am hoping to see a better overall reaction to the pressure.

The truth is that game 1 was an intense game right from the start.  I felt the pressure had an effect on Theis, White, GWill, and Pritchard in particular.  Again, not entirely surprising.  It was a very intense game, especially for a game 1 of the first round.
