What about seeing if JJ Redick would come out of retirement for a half a year. He’s reportedly been open to playing in Boston before. I understand he’s 37, but he seems like one of those guys that keeps himself in shape. He struggled in New Orleans, but that place was a mess.

I think it could be an interesting idea.

I have no idea but sounds good to me, man. Who knows. Like if the 2008 Celts DID have Reggie Miller and he barely played I’d still put him in the corner on an out of bounds play with seconds left. There’s no way as an opponent I’d leave Reddick open . 4 spots? If he’s in shape and happy to come play with us.

Reddick is on record  as not being impressed with Brett Brown. He wanted to play here under Brad Stevens.  I doubt he wants to come here under a rookie head coach.

I don't think he's the right kind of shooter we'd want, unless he's far superior to Reddick at this point. Reddick needs a lot of curls. We need spotup shooters that can attack closeouts and keep the ball poppin around.

Lets just have Pritchard run around screens and play like Redick.  Take away the ballhandling responsibilities.  I wouldn't mind Redick though if he wanted to come back for a playoff run.

If he came out of retirement, I'd imagine it would be to play with Embiid.

I’d much rather give a young player (we may already have them in Nesmith and Hauser) a chance to become this same role than beg an aging veteran who ended his career on a shooting decline to come out of retirement.
